About The Role: Service/Installation Engineer (Nationwide)
We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Service / Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This field-based role spans the UK and involves fault diagnosis, component replacement, and collaboration with our Service & Installation team to complete jobs efficiently and to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage service, maintenance, and installation tasks from start to finish
* Diagnose and repair electrical / mechanical faults, replacing components as needed
* Attend site inductions punctually and maintain accurate job documentation
* Provide thorough service reports and communicate effectively with the Service Coordinator
* Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and quality workmanship
* Maintain van stock and ensure your vehicle meets legal and cleanliness standards
* Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols and company regulations
* Be prepared for overnight stays and travel abroad
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Methodical and highly organised, with strong fault-finding skills
* Proactive problem-solver who can work independently or as part of a team
* Skilled communicator—comfortable engaging with customers and colleagues
* Flexible, committed, and responsive to changing schedules or shifts
* Motivated to meet deadlines and uphold our standards of quality
Qualifications & Experience:
* City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) preferred
* Familiarity with electromechanical systems, access controls, and food transfer equipment
* Experience in safe working practices and Health & Safety procedures
* EITB or Engineering Diploma (Level 2 or 3)
* Assembly and Bench Fitting qualifications
* Previous experience within food production environments
