Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Business Development Director to lead our expansion into new markets and drive growth through strategic acquisitions. This role involves identifying opportunities, forging partnerships, and developing go-to-market strategies for our industrial cleaning solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Identify and evaluate new market opportunities.
* Qualify opportunities and utilize ICE’s IPG team for trials and demonstrations.
* Work consultatively with prospects to deliver ROI and cost-effective proposals.
* Develop and implement strategies to penetrate high-potential markets.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors.
* Generate and convert leads through networking, outreach, events, and partnerships.
* Build a pipeline of opportunities with clear timelines and revenue targets.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to align offerings with customer needs.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
* Achieve revenue growth aligned with KPIs and strategic goals.
* Represent ICE at industry events and client meetings.
* Provide performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
* Track metrics like new client acquisition.
* Refine strategy based on industry trends and feedback.
* Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships.
* Ensure successful onboarding and service delivery.
* Develop proposals, pitches, and presentations for new business.
* Support the introduction of new products and innovations.
* Deliver on sales budgets and support sales forecasting.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* Proven business development experience, ideally in industrial cleaning or similar B2B sectors.
* Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
* Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and document preparation.
* Self-motivated, organized, and strategic thinker.
* Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in IT tools for data analysis and reporting.
* High energy, resilience, and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
