Client Engagement Director
Company: Design & Build (D&B) Office Fit Out
Package: Base salary £80,000-£90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus Scheme
The Shore Group has partnered with an established Design and Build Office Fit Out business seeking to appoint a Client Engagement Director. In this strategic role you will develop and execute the Corporate Client Account strategy across the Group, driving repeat business, client retention, and sustainable growth.
Your focus will be on cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and C‑suite decision‑makers within both existing and new blue‑chip and corporate organisations. You will be responsible for creating long‑term partnerships with major clients across the commercial workplace sector and expanding existing relationships while driving new business growth and shaping the future direction of the company.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic account plans for 10–20 corporate clients, gaining deep understanding of their business, challenges, and opportunities.
* Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new corporate.
* Develop, monitor and deliver structured account management plans for existing client accounts alongside current relationship holders.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with key client contacts and decision‑makers across multiple levels and business functions.
* Proactively engage with potential clients through phone calls, face‑to‑face meetings, and networking events.
* Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to generate and secure meetings with enterprise prospects.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the client from the initial meeting and pitch, through project execution, and into future collaborations.
* Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that demonstrate the company’s value proposition and industry expertise.
* Partner with Project Directors, Operations and Design teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Take ownership of pipeline management, revenue, and gross profit performance.
* Represent the business at senior industry forums and cultivate a professional network that positions the company as a market leader.
Ideally you will have:
* Proven experience within a Commercial Furniture or D&B Fit Out organisation, specifically in a front‑end business development or sales role.
* Strategic and creative leadership with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain long‑term client relationships, fostering loyalty and growth.
* Strong negotiation skills, combining strategic insight with sound judgment to ensure alignment between client partnerships and the business’s long‑term objectives.
