Position: Hotel Receptionist
Location : The Grovefield House Hotel
Shifts: Morning & Late (Weekdays and Weekends)
Role Overview
The Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth stay experience. The role involves handling check-ins/outs, reservations, guest inquiries, and front desk operations in line with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and assist guests professionally at all times.
* Manage check-in/check-out procedures and reservations.
* Handle payments, invoices, and guest records accurately.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
* Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
* Maintain front desk security and presentation.
* Support daily reporting and shift handovers.
Requirements
* Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* Professional, service-oriented, and reliable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
