HR Recruitment Administrator
We’re looking for an organised, proactive administrator with strong communication skills to support the HR team in a flexible, part‑time role (29.2 hours per week) on a maternity cover fixed term until 03 May 2027.
About The Role
In this varied role you will be involved in tasks across the entire employee life cycle, helping to deliver an exceptional recruitment service. You will play a key part in ensuring our processes run smoothly by providing high‑quality administrative support to both colleagues and candidates.
Typical Day
* Managing the shared inbox and responding to queries from hiring managers, external organisations and employees.
* Updating and maintaining the in‑house HR database.
* Preparing information in Excel and MS Teams, including relocation, visa and interview expense claims.
* Ensuring all required documentation is collected to satisfy immigration compliance.
* Supporting the Recruitment Team with a range of administrative tasks.
* Coordinating the University’s annual Work Experience Programme.
* Triaging general queries from hiring managers and HR colleagues.
About You
You will enjoy juggling multiple tasks, have strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional approach. You will be confident dealing with colleagues at all levels and able to work independently when required. HR experience is not essential, but excellent IT skills and strong written and verbal communication are a must.
