Field Service EngineerMaterials HandlingLocation: GranthamSalary: £30,000 – £38,000 DOE + Overtime + BenefitsHours: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday)About the RoleWe are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business.In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of materials handling equipment and plant machinery, working directly with customers across the region. You will be part of a supportive team and report to the Service Coordinator.This is a field-based, customer-facing role, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to develop your technical and professional skills within a close-knit, family-oriented business.Key ResponsibilitiesCommission, service, and maintain materials handling and powered access equipmentDiagnose faults and carry out repairs on plant and machineryReplace or repair faulty components as requiredWork closely with the Service Coordinator to manage and complete scheduled workDeliver a high standard of customer service while on-siteBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsEnsure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulationsComplete relevant documentation and adhere to company proceduresContinuously develop your skills through training and hands-on experienceAbout YouExperience working as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar roleMulti-skilled with a strong mechanical and electrical backgroundExperience with materials handling equipment and/or powered access equipmentExcellent communication skillsStrong problem-solving and fault-finding abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadAble to work to deadlines and maintain high standardsCommitted to Health & Safety complianceWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary: £30,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)Overtime opportunitiesCompany van + fuel card (with option for personal use)24 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pension schemeFull training and ongoing personal developmentA supportive, team-focused working environmentWhy Join?Be a part of a long-established, family-owned group with a strong reputation for quality and service.
