This role is a busy, customer-facing role delivering exceptional levels of service and meeting sales targets consistently. You will also receive ongoing coaching and feedback to develop your sales skills.
Salary: £23,000, rising to £25,000 per annum following probation + uncapped commission (realistic OTC of £800 per month)
Location: Nelson
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:30/09:00 – 17:00/17:30
* Make outgoing customer calls; identify opportunities to sell products through customer visits.
* Understand clients’ business communication requirements.
* Create and manage a sales pipeline.
* Book an agreed number of appointments per day.
* Report on sales opportunities.
* Proactively upskill and self-learn.
* Work towards set targets, KPIs, goals, and objectives.
* Schedule and complete tasks within specified timescales, keeping all systems fully updated for each customer contact.
* Collect Key Decision Maker contacts.
* Gather contract end date information.
* Obtain additional information to maximize customer contact details.
Qualifications
* Previous proven telesales, telemarketing, or commercial experience is advantageous.
* Industry experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
* Target & KPI driven.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to develop trusting relationships.
* Fast thinking.
* Self-motivated.
* Resilient and strong-willed.
* Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong team player.
