Overview
Lead Engineer at Skanska – Skanska Building Services is a leader in facilities management, trusted by top-tier clients across critical sectors. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to supervise maintenance and fault analysis of mechanical building operations.
What you'll do
* Review health and status of critical building systems and report on site resilience
* Issue and manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract requirements
* Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract requirements
* Handle additional requests and project tasks
* Deliver cost savings through identification and implementation of process efficiencies
* Sub-contractor management including review of works delivered
* Manage health and safety for the team and processes as per Skanska requirements
* Attend site in a timely manner as a participant in the site call-out rota
Qualifications
* Minimum of Mechanical/Electrical City & Guilds level 2, NVQ level 3
* Experience working in an FM/building services environment
* Experience of BMS and critical building systems
* IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
* Experience of managing/leading engineers and subcontractors
