Salary: £20,259.73 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Student Support Mentor - Lower School to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School, part of Acorn Education.
About the Role
Our Student Support Mentors are more than teaching assistants; they support students inside and outside the classroom, helping them reach their academic and social potential. As a Student Support Worker, you will connect directly with pupils, ensuring they get the best from their education. Everyone has potential, and you will guide their learning journeys.
We seek motivated and enthusiastic individuals eager to make a difference. The site aims to provide support to unlock each pupil's potential for fulfilling and productive lives, offering students freedom in a safe, supervised environment supported by dedicated professionals.
Who we are looking for
You should be adaptable, ready to work in various classroom roles indoors and outdoors based on individual needs. Taking a caring approach, you might run classroom activities, lead outdoor experiences, or supervise pupils exploring outside.
The ideal candidate will have GCSE C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent and experience working with children.
