The Opportunity
The University of Edinburgh Business School seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Accounting within its Accounting and Finance Group. We are looking for high‑quality candidates for this appointment who will contribute to the Group's teaching and scholarship.
Specifically, we are looking for a highly competent lecturer with a PhD in Accounting. The preferred candidate should have a strong profile and the skills appropriate to designing and delivering courses in one or more of the following areas: Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Interdisciplinary Accounting.
The successful applicant will contribute to the objectives of the Business School by engaging in teaching of the highest quality. Depending on their specific area of expertise, the successful candidate will be expected to teach on the School's Undergraduate, MSc and MBA programmes, on‑campus and online courses.

* The ability to design and deliver courses, including research‑led courses, for online as well as on‑campus students at all levels, contribute to, and where appropriate, lead the design and delivery of degree programmes.
* A commitment to excellence in classroom and digital teaching, and to advising UG/PG dissertation students.
* The ability to engage confidently and competently with policy makers, practitioners and other non‑academic stakeholders.
