Overview
Take a hands-on, supervisory role when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as the Housekeeping Supervisor at our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate.
Our residents are our focus at Signature, and their comfort and safety are paramount. Your day-to-day activities will include the efficient and cost-effective running of all housekeeping services, carrying out equipment checks and preventive maintenance and providing a consistent high level of service through efficient staff and cleaning rotas.
Our residents will notice and appreciate attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness builds confidence in our service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Deal with complaints promptly and directly, reporting them to the hospitality manager and ensuring lessons are learnt for the future.
* Have an excellent knowledge of the COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and ensure all staff are trained fully in this, ensuring the home maintains maximum cleanliness, health and safety.
* Internally, this role is called Hospitality Supervisor; if successful, this will be your job title.
* Work across a range of departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle. Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.
About you / Qualifications
* Confident leader with supervisory experience and COSHH knowledge; understanding of Health & Safety.
* IT literate, flexible, able to manage workload, calm under pressure, energetic, proactive, and adaptable.
* Ability to work outside normal hours in emergency situations; a full, clean driving licence is a big advantage.
