Job Description Senior Supply Chain Manager Full Time Derby/Hybrid working What you will be doing We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our Aerospace Procurement business. You will lead the operational performance of the external supply chain to deliver the required technology, quality, cost and delivery performance for the assigned commodities / categories / categories and/ or region. You will lead the integration across multiple supply chain operating functions, providing direction in the resolution of technical & / or logistical issues and support constructive escalation to achieve timely results. Responsibilities You’ll lead a team of functional specialists, focused on driving world class supplier performance through great relationships. You’ll work across Rolls-Royce and external functions, acting as a single supplier focal point to deliver business requirements and as the escalation point for specialists on all aspects of supplier management. Relationship Management - responsibility for effective operational relationship management. Supplier Development – engage with relevant functions to deliver supplier performance across Quality, Cost & Delivery. Strategy – support development and deployment of the Integrated Commodity Strategy. Cost Management – integrate across required functions to lead and deliver short to medium term cost reduction plans. Risk Management – deploy risk management practices assess, communicate and mitigate supply chain risk. Extensive experience in purchasing or supply chain management Experience of resolving diverse challenges, in diverse cultures with ways of thinking. An understanding of manufacturing processes and associated cost drivers is required.
