The Role
:
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you will evaluate vehicle damage and prepare detailed repair estimates.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspect damaged vehicles to determine repair requirements.
2. Prepare precise and comprehensive repair estimates using manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
3. Order necessary parts and materials for vehicle repairs.
4. Monitor repair progress to ensure adherence to high standards.
5. Communicate with insurance companies regarding repair costs and timelines.
6. Stay updated with manufacturer repair methods and industry practices.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
8. Maintain workshop standards, ensuring a clean and organised environment.
Requirements:
9. Previously worked as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator or in a similar role in an accident repair centre.
10. Understanding of vehicle repair methods, materials, and costs.
11. Skilled in using manufacturer repair data and industry guidelines.
12. Strong ability to build rapport with customers and insurance companies.
13. Familiarity with the Audatex system would be beneficial.
14. Valid UK driving licence.
