About the Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons designed to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASC.
You will lead a class supported by experienced teaching assistants and work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and parents to support each student's progress and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with ASC
* Create structured and predictable classroom environments
* Develop and review EHCP targets and individual learning plans
* Support communication and social skills development using visual strategies
* Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
* Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
* Implement positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies Requirements
* QTS or equivalent
* Experience working with SEN pupils, ideally within an ASC setting
* Understanding of autism-friendly teaching approaches and structured learning
* Strong communication xxuwjjq and teamwork skills
* Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
* Ability to commute to Kingston or live within a reasonable distance What the School Offers
