The Opportunity: Business Analyst
Right Legal Group are a legal services business specialising in Wills, Probate and Wealth Management services. It has recently secured private equity funding and is growing rapidly. The challenge is to transform the operations of the business to allow it to scale significantly. The firm is undertaking a transformation programme with priority projects including document automation, creating a Single Source of Truth through process redesign and system integration, as well as other areas of operational change. We are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to support these change initiatives and be a core part of the Operations team.
What Youll Do: Key Responsibilities
Lead process improvement activities including process mapping, workshop facilitation, improvement identification, to-be process mapping
Scope, shape and articulate functional and non-functional requirements for technology and business change projects, using appropriate documentation and modelling techniques
Evaluate and develop both process and system improvements to meet the business need
Actively support the business when undertaking User Acceptance Testing
Write support documentation and quick reference guides
Provide end user training when required
Demonstrate project management experience to complement the Business Analyst skills
Work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility of approach, willingness to contribute across multiple initiatives
Analysis of data indicating system usage within the business in order to monitor existing process adherence.

You have extensive experience of process and system improvement in professional or legal services
You have strong communication skills and have the ability to work with senior management from across the business in order to gather and disseminate information
You have experience of system and data requirements to enable automation
You have the ability to prepare business cases from a costs and benefits perspective
You have the ability to articulate business requirements for change
You have an understanding of how to apply and translate strategic objectives and design principles into a transformation / process improvement
You have prior experience in assessing progress against KPIs and in relation to the value for the customer
You have prior experience of preparing reports for Committees / Boards on progress: including in relation to an update on costs and an update on risks / issues
