We are seeking on behalf of a talented Marketing and communications person to support daily activities and raise brand awareness for a tier 1 Building contractor.
The role will involve construction site visits 3-4 days a week with the rest of the time based in the Croydon office. ·A keen interest: in construction and architecture and especially the construction process would be a distinct advantage
The role will include :
Communications
· Company staff update: Develop, source and create content, and manage the fortnightly staff update
· Personal news: Champion the ‘personal news’ across the business, keeping an eye out for good news stories to share with the business
· Photography / social media: Work with the photographers to create the very highest standard of photography and use them creatively across social media channels
Marketing
· Project marketing plans: Support creation and management of individual marketing plans for live projects by engaging with the project team (internal and external), gathering project information, writing project profiles, and managing content for use across departments.
· Visual content: Coordinate and manage all company and project visual content including project photography, timelapses, drones, videos, and staff headshots and develop creative content using this media.
· Website: Create, maintain, and manage website content including monthly news items, project profiles, liaising with website developers, and updating content on a regular basis with business discipline leads.
· Social media: manage all social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube) including creating and posting content, engaging with key stakeholders, and implementing and ensuring compliance with social media policies and guidelines (employees and sub-contractors)
Branding
· General management: ensure compliance to company branding by staff/ projects/ service providers
· Site branding: develop and maintain internal and external site branding and their standards across all sites
· Branded / marketing materials: oversee and manage the development of marketing materials to ensure brand standards are maintained (digital brochures, site signage, posters)
Events
· Awards: manage annual project award programme including: award submissions - write or assist with submissions where required, manage attendees, and attend ceremonies where required
· Company events: assist with the organisation and promotion of internal and external company events and attend where required
· Project events: assist with the organisation and promotion of project events and attend where required
The ideal candidate will posess the following skills:
· Digital marketing: Proficient and creative in its use
· Design skills: In-Design and Adobe Photoshop – to retouch and enhance imagery
· Photography management: Strong management of photographers and creative use of photography
· Writing skills: For different audiences (PESO)
· Storyboarding: Storyboarding ideas with film-content makers and editors
