About The Role
As a member of the Marketing leadership team, the Head of Demand Generation will support the Chief Marketing Officer in leading the Marketing function. Responsible for delivering the Demand Generation pillar aimed at the Public Sector, you will drive data‑led decision making and support the organisation’s growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies to meet pipeline and company growth targets.
* Lead integrated multi‑channel campaigns across digital advertising, content marketing, email, events, and webinars.
* Own budgets and ROI optimisation programmes.
* Build stakeholder relationships across sales, product marketing, and content teams to align messaging and maximise campaign effectiveness.
* Own marketing analytics and reporting, providing insights on campaign effectiveness, pipeline metrics, and revenue attribution.
* Maintain and develop KPIs.
* Lead and develop a team of demand generation specialists and partner with product marketing to create compelling value propositions.
* Drive market research and testing to identify new opportunities, understand buyer behaviour, and optimise targeting strategies.

* Strategic Marketing mindset – proven ability to deliver B2B demand generation results.
* Data‑driven decision making – strong analytical skills, proficiency in marketing analytics tools and attribution modelling.
* Leadership & team management – experience building and mentoring high‑performing marketing teams.
* Marketing technology expertise – deep understanding of marketing automation platforms and digital tools.
* Business acumen – understanding of B2B sales cycles and revenue operations.
* Cross‑functional collaboration – interpersonal skills to work effectively with sales and product teams.
* Campaign management – experience executing multi‑channel B2B campaigns with demonstrable ROI.
* Problem‑solving & adaptability – thrive in fast‑paced environments and pivot strategies as markets shift.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or 5+ years of B2B marketing with 3+ years focused on demand generation.
* Strong experience in the public sector.
* 3+ years of people‑management experience leading marketing teams.
* Proven track record of growing pipeline and revenue in a B2B environment.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot or similar).
* Experience with CRM systems, NetSuite preferred.
* Expertise in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
* Ability to analyse complex marketing dashboards and attribution models.
Required Competencies
* Understanding of the B2B buyer journey and modern demand generation tactics.
* Ability to develop and execute account‑based marketing (ABM) strategies.
* Experience building and optimizing lead scoring and nurture programs.
* Successful collaboration with sales teams and revenue operations.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in SaaS or technology industry marketing.
* Knowledge of standard marketing metrics and KPIs.
* Strong project management and prioritisation abilities.
