Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker – Children & Young People (Female Only) Hours: 37 per week Location: Aldershot Female applicants only (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9). About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Outreach Worker to support children and young people affected by domestic abuse in both community and refuge settings. The role focuses on safety, prevention, emotional wellbeing, and empowering young people to break cycles of abuse. Key Responsibilities * Provide one-to-one and group support, workshops and age-appropriate activities. * Support children’s emotional wellbeing, safety planning and understanding of healthy relationships. * Work with parents to strengthen the parent–child relationship. * Promote school attendance and liaise with education providers. * Advocate for young people with external agencies. * Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service monitoring. * Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to respond to emergencies. * Work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary partners. About You Essential: * Experience supporting vulnerable children and young people. * Understanding of domestic abuse and safeguarding. * Strong communication, organisational and case-management skills. * Ability to work independently and within a team. * Full driving licence, access to a car, business insurance. ...
