GSL Education are seeking a motivated PE Support professional to work in Wakefield (WF4), assisting with the delivery of engaging PE lessons and sports activities. As Physical Education (PE) Support, you will assist the PE department in creating an energetic and positive learning environment where students can develop their physical abilities, teamwork, and confidence through sport and exercise. Main Responsibilities: Support the PE teacher in delivering structured and engaging PE lessons. Help prepare and organise sports equipment and ensure facilities are safe for use. Encourage students to participate actively in sports and physical activities. Provide support to individuals or small groups during PE lessons. Assist with school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities. Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude towards physical fitness. Requirements of PE Support: Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable. A strong interest in sports, fitness, or physical education. Good communication and teamwork skills. A positive, energetic, and supportive approach when working with students. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
