Overview
The Temporary Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced, strategic and highly motivated School Business Manager to join the leadership team at Ysgol Cambrian. This key role provides professional leadership and management of finance, HR, administration, premises and compliance functions across both sites.
Responsibilities
* Strategic planning, monitoring and management of the school’s budget, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and effective use of resources.
* Oversight of income generation, grant management and major projects, and acting as the school’s senior officer for GDPR compliance.
* Line management of clerical and site staff, ensuring high-performing teams that support pupils, staff and families.
* Oversight of premises management, health and safety compliance, risk assessment, contractor management and planning and delivery of capital projects.
* Member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the wider leadership of the school.
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent organisational, financial and analytical skills, strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
* Proven experience managing budgets, leading teams and delivering high-quality business operations.
* Experience working in a school setting or with a governing body is desirable.
