Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Operative
Location: HU3 Area, Hull
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm or 5am-1pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (for the right candidate)
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing company based in the HU3 area. This role is within a frozen food production environment; however, the factory is maintained at a comfortable working temperature thanks to specialist equipment, providing a clean and pleasant working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Operative looking for a long‑term position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
* Ensuring all products meet required food safety and quality standards
* Completing and maintaining accurate QA documentation and paperwork
* Product testing – hourly
* Monitoring hygiene and compliance with company procedures
* Reporting any issues or non‑conformances to management
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role, ideally within food manufacturing
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently
* Good understanding of food safety and quality standards
* Reliable and able to work as part of a team
