Audio Typist/Support Officer – NHS Scotland

Role Overview

Support Audio Typist/Clerical Officer within the Medicine Directorate at Perth Royal Infirmary. Undertake audio typing and clerical duties, ensuring accurate transcription of medical records and supporting information systems.


Key Responsibilities

* Accurate audio typing of medical documents.
* Perform general office duties and clerical tasks.
* Support the processing of medical records and hospital IT systems.
* Work effectively within a team environment.
* Comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.


Qualifications & Skills

* Excellent keyboard skills and typing speed.
* Strong communication skills.
* Experience of general office duties.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical record processing/hospital IT systems is advantageous.


Working Hours & Compensation

16 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday).

Salary: £25,694 – £27,900 pro rata.


Location

Perth Royal Infirmary, Medicine Directorate.
