Join Our Team as a Technical Project Manager!
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Akkodis is on the lookout for a Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team on a Contract basis in Jersey City, NJ/Pennington, NJ (Hybrid). In this role, you'll spearhead exciting infrastructure and security projects, including data center migrations and End-of-Life (EOL) programs, all within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Competitive Rate: $61/hour to $66/hour (negotiable based on experience, education, and location).
Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager, you will:
* Lead end-to-end technical projects, focusing on infrastructure provisioning, data center migrations, security initiatives, and EOL programs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, to uphold server standards and infrastructure best practices.
* Facilitate project meetings, effectively communicate technical details, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
* Support capacity management tasks, ensuring alignment with enterprise infrastructure standards.
* Build trusted relationships with business and technology teams to deliver projects on time.
* Oversee Linux builds, patching, upgrades, and support in both virtual and physical environments.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Project Management, preferably in infrastructure and enterprise environments.
* A strong background in Linux systems, networks, storage, and data center technologies.
* Experience with infrastructure tools and concepts such as Jira, virtualization, cloud platforms, DNS, Active Directory, and firewalls.
