Overview
CareerMakers are currently looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join our client in the Deeside, CH5 area on a permanent basis.
Schedule
Start Date: Immediately
Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:30 (with 30-minute break)
Flexibility to stay longer on weekdays when required (overtime paid at x1.25 rate after 16:30)
Responsibilities
* Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
* Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on-site
* Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in line with company and legal requirements
* Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections
* Provide advice and support to site management teams on compliance matters
Requirements
* Strong experience as a Health & Safety Officer
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of team
* Valid CSCS
* Level 6 Health & Safety qualification
* Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices
* References from previous works
