I am now looking for an incredible Instagram expert to help me reach millions more mothers with the Motherkind message of supporting the woman behind the mother.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a highly creative, ambitious, and self-starting Social Media Manager to grow our social presence, engage our community, and drive course sales and podcast listens. You will take ownership of Motherkind's social strategy, creating and repurposing content that resonates with our audience of mothers aged 30–45, while staying on top of trends and formats that drive reach and engagement.
This is a hands-on role — you will set social strategy, create content, edit, manage freelancers as needed, engage actively with the community and brand partners, and be present for filming days in Bournemouth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grow Motherkind Instagram with a focus on engagement and target audience reach
* Use social media strategically to drive:
* Course sales
* Podcast listens
* Brand partnerships
* Engage actively with our community: respond to comments, DMs, and discussions to foster a loyal and active following.
* Develop and implement ManyChat flows to support community growth, engagement, and conversions into email subscribers and buyers.
* Create monthly, weekly + daily content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, and the podcast. Monthly content creation and scheduling, graphic design, image and text-based content as well as directing, filming, and editing video-based content.
* Produce creative content: graphics, reels, posts, stories, carousels
* Identify and leverage social trends, hooks, formats, and viral opportunities to maximize reach to target audience - ultimately growing impact + revenue
* Track performance metrics across all social platforms; use analytics to measure ROI, optimise campaigns, and improve engagement and conversion.
* Collaborate on filming days in Bournemouth
* Understand the target audience deeply (mothers aged 30–45) to produce content that resonates, entertains, and converts.
Requirements:
* Proven experience growing social accounts of similar size (education, parenting, or lifestyle sectors preferred).
* Strong understanding of social media's role in driving email subscribers, course sales and podcast growth.
* Hands-on experience with ManyChat or other messaging automation tools.
* Expert knowledge of trends, formats, and hooks that drive reach, engagement, and virality.
* Creative and self-starting: able to create, edit, and commission content independently.
* Strong analytical skills: ability to track performance metrics, analyse results, and optimise content/campaigns.
* Community-focused: experience engaging actively with followers to grow loyalty and interaction.
* Highly organised, ambitious, and obsessed with social media.
* Deep understanding of mothers aged 30–45 is a strong advantage.
