A respected regional civil engineering & groundworks contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support a busy programme of works across Newmarket and the wider Cambridgeshire area. This suits someone who can take ownership of engineering delivery, maintain tight QA control, and keep fast-moving civils packages running smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesSetting Out & Engineering
* Setting out for foundations, ducting, drainage, car parks, utilities, roads and general infrastructure
* Managing levels, grids, control points and as-built surveys
* Interpreting drawings, specifications and digital models
* Maintaining accurate engineering records across all work fronts
Quality Assurance
1. Completing ITPs, check sheets and QA documentation
2. Ensuring works meet specification, tolerances and client requirements
3. Supporting close-out of NCRs and maintaining quality records
