Are you passionate about Criminology and committed to inspiring the next generation of learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Criminology Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Maidenhead on a temporary basis.
About the Role
You will be responsible for helping with the development of the SOW and marking with occasional teaching of Criminology lessons, helping students to develop a strong understanding of criminological theories, criminal behaviour, and the justice system.You’ll join a dedicated humanities/social sciences faculty where collaboration and creativity are valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Criminology curriculum
* Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with faculty colleagues to support student success
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Criminology (or related social sciences such as Sociology, Psychology, or Law)
* Experience teaching at KS5 is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A passion for education and student development
