What you'll do
We are seeking skilled and motivated Airworthiness Engineers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of the air‑to‑air refuelling and actuation systems we develop. You will work closely with design, operations, and functional teams to identify and meet applicable airworthiness standards, report to the Airworthiness Manager, and help develop other engineers within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all designs, modifications, and repairs comply with relevant airworthiness regulations and standards.
* Prepare and review certification documentation for systems and components.
* Conduct detailed inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical support and guidance to engineering and operations teams regarding airworthiness issues.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all airworthiness activities and certifications.
* Act as a liaison with aviation regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
* Identify and implement improvements to airworthiness processes and procedures.
Qualifications
* Degree in Aerospace Engineering (preferred but not mandatory) or a related discipline.
* At least 2 years of experience in a Senior Airworthiness Engineer or related role.
Skills
* Knowledge of EASA, FAA, and UK MAA regulations.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and resilience.
