Early Years Practitioner – Central Bristol
Frequency: 3-5 Days per Week
Location: BS2 - Central Bristol
Teaching Personnel has an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to work within one of our Central Bristol schools.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development during their most formative years. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers to deliver lesson content, adapting to specific student needs as required.
* Providing 1:1 and group support to children, especially those with SEN requirements.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
* Create and maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment, ensuring children feel secure and supported in their learning.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families, promoting a partnership approach to education.
Desirable…
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Ability to adapt your approach to meet diverse student needs
* Experience within early years (nursery/reception)
* PECs/Makaton knowledge
* DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to attain)
* Capability to build and maintain rapport with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
