About Queens Cross Network
Queens Cross is a vibrant, Community Disability hub, co-produced with people who have lived experience of Disability and who are living independently in their own homes throughout the borough. People are what makes Queens Cross great, and therefore, they are at the "front and centre" of everything that happens at our hub, working in partnership with us to continually improve the service.

Assistant Cook
25 Hours per week

£16,754 - £17,016 (this is the pro-rata rate)

The role of Assistant Cook in our catering kitchen is very much a key role in our quality meals provision. Supporting the catering manager to provide nutritious high quality meals to people with disabilities in the building-based service, as well as provision of mid-day meals to students of some local special schools. Encouraging people who use and help to co-produce the service, to partake of a mid-day meal and contribute therefore to individual wellbeing as part of personalised support programmes. As the assistant cook, you will also be responsible for overseeing the operations of the kitchen in the absence of the catering manager.
