Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Multiskilled Craftsperson (Electrical Bias) to work at the new £35 million, state-of-the-art hospital in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The successful candidate will work alongside the current multi-skilled team to maintain both the new and existing Berwick infirmary sites. The post is for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and includes participation in the emergency on-call rota.
The post is for Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management.

Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will be involved in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building/engineering, life, and business-critical services, plant, and equipment within all trust and non-trust properties within their remit, including some installation work. They will participate in the estates on-call rota and undertake essential out-of-hours duties as directed.
The successful applicant should have significant M&E building services experience, be versatile, capable of handling conflicting priorities, and able to work under pressure. They must be computer literate, possess good technical knowledge and communication skills, and have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel within and beyond the organization.
