The national campaign is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. and U.K. foreign policy.

The Borgen Project is an international organisation that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, it has supported the passage of numerous bills benefiting close to 500 million people in developing countries.
Nonprofit Leadership Programme
This role provides insight into the key skills required to lead and develop a nonprofit organization. It is a part-time, 12-hours-per-week, 12-week unpaid remote program. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.
Program Focus Areas:
* Advocacy Leadership Development: Meet with government members, represent The Borgen Project at events, mobilize individuals to support legislation.
* Fundraising Development: Learn fundraising skills, create campaigns, meet targets.
* Recruitment: Update job postings, inform groups about openings, participate in interviews.
* Marketing and Promotion: Pitch story ideas, utilize social media, develop messaging strategies.
Experience: No prior experience necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.
Details: This is an unpaid internship; college credit may be available.
Start Date: New programs begin monthly. You can choose your start month.
