The role
*Class 2 HGV driver*
Experience within the removals industry is preferred.
Two years checkable HGV driving experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of European drivers hours and tachograph regulations.
Hold a drivers digital tachograph card and a valid drivers CPC.
It would be preferred for insurance purposes if applicants had no more than 6 points on your their licence without the following conviction codes - AC, BA, CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, TT or UT. However this is not essentail.
In addition to driving the truck and keeping within all regulations, part of your duties will be assisting to load / unload the truck by hand with other crew members. A level of physical fitness is required. You will be representing the company directly with our customers and as such we would expect you to be in full uniform (which would be supplied) and also keep company vehicles neat and tidy. It is imperative that our customers have a good experience with us, to retain repeat business.
We operate a modern well maintained versatile fleet of specialized removals vehicles.
