Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester – Main Dealer in Bury St Edmunds
1. Salary: Basic up to £35,000 + Uncapped Bonus (Realistic OTE £42,000)
2. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
3. 1 in 3 Saturdays (Paid at Overtime)
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester looking for an exciting opportunity with a reputable and established main dealer? Our client, a well-respected brand in the automotive industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team in Bury St Edmunds.
Key Responsibilities as an Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
4. Conduct diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles to a high standard
5. Carry out MOT tests in line with current regulations
6. Perform servicing, inspections, and general repairs as required
7. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the satisfaction of customers
8. Provide expert advice and guidance to customers when required
9. Maintain high levels of professionalism and customer care
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
10. Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
11. Valid MOT Tester Licence (essential)
12. Proven experience in a main dealer or similar environment
13. Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
14. Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet targets
15. Full UK driving licence
