We are recruiting a skilled insoection operative to join our team at IBF in holyhead!
Key responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers.
• Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE
• Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested
• Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process
• Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training
• Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives
• Maintain the inspection environment following training
• COSHH Awareness following training
• Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices
• Champion a health and safety culture
The ideal candidate will have:
* Logistics experience in a large fast-moving environment
* Strong warehouse system experience
* A strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work
* Experience of working to agreed targets
* Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
* Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. loading, unloading vehicles.
o Forklift licence/expierence ideal.
Conditions:
* Shift patterns will be any 3/7– 12hrs per day
* you would be required to work Days and nights 6am-6pm/6pm-6am
* Weekly or monthly pay available
To be eligible you need:
* NO unspent convictions and be able to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS check)
* Ability to provide 3 years referencing contacts and have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
* The right to work in the UK
