The Role As a Senior Designer, you will produce engineering design work packages—including specifications, drawings, and analysis—to support asset care projects. You will mainly operate on site at Sellafield, providing critical support during project execution phases, ensuring deliverables meet legal, safety, and operational requirements. Your daily activities will encompass stakeholder engagement, peer reviews, and supporting project tasks such as as-built drawing updates for major plant replacements. You will have the following qualifications & experience: Extensive experience in delivering safe, fit-for-purpose design solutions within highly regulated sectors, ideally nuclear. Proven ability to produce and review technical reports, drawings, calculations, and risk assessments. Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working within multi-disciplinary design teams and supporting asset care projects during construction and commissioning.
