About the Role:
As the PMLD SEN Teacher, you will design and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each pupil. You’ll work within a close-knit, multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants, therapists, and families, fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment where every child can thrive.

Plan and deliver creative, accessible lessons for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs
Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs
Collaborate closely with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure holistic support for each child
Champion best practices and contribute to ongoing professional development within the team
The ideal candidate will:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching pupils with PMLD, complex needs, or related SEN backgrounds
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach with excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for making a genuine difference in the lives of children with profound additional needs
