At a glance: Location: Cirencester Office Workplace Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Permanent Seniority: Mid-Senior Level The Architecture, Design & Experience Division is responsible for shaping the strategic design of SJP’s technology, processes, and customer experiences to ensure all change initiatives are aligned to business priorities and deliver meaningful, client-centric outcomes. The division brings together architecture, service and user experience design, and business analysis into a centre of excellence that guides projects from idea to execution. It ensures designs and solutions are focussed on customer outcomes, quality and consistency of experience across SJP's digital and operational landscape, while remaining well governed, cost effective and scalable. The Business Analyst Team is involved in the full end to end project lifecycle at SJP. From mapping out business benefits and success criteria through to detailed requirements and user stories, this could be from small business change to large scale programmes. The team is made up of Business Analyst (BA) Leads, Senior Business Analysts and Business Analysts augmented by contract resource. The team collaborates with cross functional teams within the Architecture, Design & Experience Division and the wider business. The BA Lead will manage a team of analysts, taking ownership of a specific portfolio, programme, or value stream and associated Business Analysis activity. They will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all project-related Business Analysis deliverables and assist Divisional Director of Architecture, Design and Experience In developing the Business Analysis function, Including appropriate training and development of those In the role. What you'll be doing: Leading teams of Business Analysts on programmes of work, value streams or projects Setting and maintaining Industry best practice standards for Business Analysis practice Engaging as early as possible with potential Initiatives to help advise and inform the scope and objectives to ensure the full impact and implications on deliverables are understood Ensuring smooth transition of Project deliverables to Business as usual in a controlled and supportable manner Ensuring new projects and initiatives are scoped and initiated effectively and align with change control processes and organisational priorities Managing resources and resource conflicts where delivery spans multiple delivery Teams Ensuring changes to requirements are managed effectively across the Portfolio/programme/value stream Acting as a key liaison point between Third Party development teams Planning, supporting and development of other members of the Business Analysis team and day to day administration of the BA Practice. Who we're looking for: You will be an experienced leader with significant expertise in understanding business needs and managing stakeholder relationships. You be supporting the design, development, testing and implementation of developments and ensuring these align to our strategic aims. Essential Criteria Strong experience leading team on programmes of work, value streams or projects. Strong experience working and collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions. Expertise in supporting junior team members to be able problem solve and resolve issues effectively and efficiently using resources and people around them. Proven ability to drive and embed a positive working culture in line with SJPs values. Desirable Criteria Leading in a Business Analytics Function Experience of using and understanding change methodologies including Agile and Waterfall Qualified to BCS International Diploma Standard Experience working in financial services and/or in a highly regulated industry.
