Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Beaconsfield, seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026. The Role The Reception year is a vital bridge between early development and structured learning. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and well-organised classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn. You will be responsible for: Creating a stimulating, play-based learning environment aligned with the EYFS framework Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development Encouraging early communication skills, independence, and positive learning behaviours Observing, assessing, and tracking progress to meet individual learning needs Building strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers The Ideal Candidate You understand that Reception is about more than teaching-it's about building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
