Role Overview

Otis is growing, and we are recruiting a Service Sales Consultant to cover a specified geographic territory, reporting to the Regional Sales Service Manager. The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth by developing a customer prospect pipeline focused on winning new maintenance contracts, with additional responsibilities for selling incremental repair projects.
On a typical day you will:
1. Manage a portfolio of elevator units by maintaining good relationships with existing customers.
2. Serve as the primary contact for timely resolution of customer inquiries.
3. Develop new customers through cold calling, networking, bids, and tenders.
4. Create your own sales strategy to meet sales targets.
5. Use Otis’ sales tools to track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results.
6. Conduct sales negotiations and close deals.
7. Collaborate with team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.
What you will need to be successful
1. A business or technical degree or completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, with at least 3 years of prior work experience.
2. Experience in selling technical service agreements requiring consultation.
3. Strong customer and service orientation, with excellent interpersonal skills.
4. A high level of commitment and reliability.
5. Target-focused, able to work at pace in a demanding, complex organization.
