Overview
Our receptionists help patients to access the right services, assist with keeping health records accurate and up-to-date, and ensure that appointment bookings are well-managed. You will be based at the front desk as the first point of contact welcoming patients who come into the surgery, so we are looking for someone who is confident and has an empathetic manner. You will have a caring approach and be hard working and motivated to provide the best patient experience.

About the Practice
Lea Vale Medical Group are looking for a Medical Receptionist with experience in customer service to join our long-standing, friendly surgery. This is an exciting role as you would be joining an established non-clinical team that is rated outstanding by the CQC. You will become part of our dedicated reception team and strive to ensure our patients receive the best possible service from the Practice. With good communication skills and the ability to respond sympathetically to queries and direct people appropriately, you will have strong organisational skills and be able to multi-task. We are a CQC outstanding rated practice who believes in delivering high quality primary care services through effective teamwork and constant learning. We are looking for people who share the same teamworking ethics to join our team. We learn from the past but are always looking to the future. This is true for when we look for new staff as well; your skills and experience will be what make you suitable for this role, but we are more interested in your ideas for the future and how you want to develop yourself and how that will improve our practice and the service we offer to our patients.
Job Details
The role is part time 20 hours per week from 1:30pm-5:30pm. This is perfect if you like to keep your mornings free or would prefer to avoid the morning rush hour.
