I'm currently recruiting for a Head of Financial Reporting for one of the fastest growing businesses in the North West.
You will be responsible for the group's financial reporting function, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and external reporting in compliance with UK-adopted IFRS and FCA Listing Rules.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Lead the preparation of the Group's Annual Report and Accounts, Half-Year Report, and trading updates
* Manage the consolidation process of financial statements across all Group entities
* Oversee preparation of statutory accounts
* Lead the Group audit process, acting as primary contact for external auditors
* Oversee balance sheet reviews and ensure strong control over key judgements and estimates
* Prepare and submit regulatory filings and ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including tax filings and statutory accounts.
* Support risk management and compliance initiatives
* Lead, develop and mentor the financial reporting team
* Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance
I am looking for candidates with a strong financial reporting background, experience of managing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles to market deadlines with along with a strong understanding of group consolidation.
