Job Description

For the financial year 2025/2026, the following programmes will run:

* Libraries Improvement Fund (LIF) - Funding for public libraries up to £500,000 (Total available £5.5m)
* Museum Estate and Development Fund (MEND) - Funding for urgent repairs to accredited non-national museums up to £5m (Total available £25m)
* Creative Foundations Fund (CFF) - Funding for arts organizations' equipment and buildings - Strand 1 up to £1m and Strand 2 over £1m and up to £10m (Total available £85m)

We are expanding our Capital team to oversee the delivery of these programmes alongside our existing capital investment.

Role Details: We are seeking five knowledgeable and proactive Senior Officers, Capital Relationships and Monitoring, to support the delivery of Arts Council England's capital investment programmes.

Some roles will require specific experience and expertise in libraries or museums.

You will work closely with arts organizations, museums, and libraries, providing advice throughout their funding journey, assessing applications, and monitoring awarded grants to ensure compliance, manage risk, and track delivery against outcomes. You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities, government representatives, and sector specialists, helping to raise awareness of our capital investment opportunities.

Using your sector expertise, you will support the design and delivery of effective monitoring frameworks, deliver user research to inform programme development, and ensure that grant-making processes align with best practices and public service standards.
