We are interested in candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
In the role of a Field Service Engineer you will engage in a variety of tasks, working with our full range of products from small pallet trucks to counterbalance trucks, very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and rectifying faults, performing preventative maintenance, and servicing Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and rectify faults in forklift and material handling equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of forklift and warehouse equipment.
* Service Linde forklifts and related material handling equipment at customer sites.
Qualifications
* Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics.
* Preferred NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, though not essential.
* Full UK driving licence (required for field and resident engineers).
* Comfortable working autonomously and within a team environment.
* Proficient with IT equipment and digital record keeping.
