Murray Recruitment are recruiting an HR Consultant for our client based in Lanarkshire.
Role Overview:
This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to provide expert support across the full employee lifecycle. Working in a fast-paced consultancy environment, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality HR advice, guidance, and hands-on support to a range of clients, ensuring compliance with current legislation and promoting best practice in all areas of human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive HR support to clients, covering onboarding to exit procedures.
* Lead and participate in a range of meetings including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance reviews.
* Conduct investigations and manage employee relations cases effectively.
* Advise clients on employment law updates and policy implementation.
* Manage HR projects and recruitment campaigns from brief to completion.
* Draft HR documentation including contracts, letters, and handbooks.
* Liaise with occupational health providers and coordinate referrals.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records and systems.
* Provide ad hoc HR support as required by clients or management.
Skills & Experience:
* Strong generalist HR experience.
* In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Confident in handling complex employee relations cases.
* Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
* CIPD qualified (or working towards) is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage a varied workload with competing priorities.
