Help shape how institutional investment data is delivered, governed, and improved at scale. You’ll lead operational execution and analytics-driven change in Fusion Service Delivery, partnering across Product and Technology to improve client outcomes.
As a Fusion Service Delivery Data Operations Associate in Fusion Service Delivery within Securities Services, you will oversee daily delivery operations and drive continuous improvement of exception management, controls, and reporting. You will lead resolution of Business As Usual data and process exceptions, identifying root causes and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable fixes. Your work will improve data quality, operational resilience, and transparency for Fusion products and solutions.
Job responsibilities
1. Lead execution of strategic initiatives to enhance exception management tooling and scalable service delivery.
2. Oversee daily file monitoring to ensure timely delivery of datasets and products to end users and clients.
3. Manage Business As Usual exceptions, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating effective remediation.
4. Partner with Technology, Product Owners, and Source Teams to design and implement sustainable process improvements.
5. Perform data mining and analytics to define process flows, best practices, and operational optimization opportunities.
6. Establish governance routines and controls for Business As Usual processes to support risk management and compliance.
7. Develop operational metrics and produce reporting for senior audiences to enable data-driven decisions.
8. Document process flows and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to drive consistency and clarity in execution.
9. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform operational and strategic actions.
10. Facilitate cross-team communication to accelerate exception resolution and strengthen collaboration.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
11. Several years of experience in Fund Accounting, Collateral, Custody, Sustainable Investing, Reference Data, Middle Office, or Finance.
12. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
13. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) for analysis, documentation, and presentations.
15. Hands-on capability with data analysis and workflow tools such as Excel, Visio, SQL, Alteryx, database querying, and Confluence.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
16. Finance background preferred
17. Experience with visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau.
18. Working knowledge of Python and Jupyter Notebook.
19. Familiarity with ProDQ (previously OWL DQ).
