A growing manufacturing business in York is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to support the consolidation of group accounts into their UK head office and play a key role in driving operational and financial improvements.\n\nThis is a hands-on role in a collaborative team, ideal for someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet of the numbers, challenging inefficiencies, and helping shape better systems, processes, and reporting over the next 12 months.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n * Preparing consolidated management accounts with variance analysis\n\n * Supporting group stakeholders during month-end and seasonal activity\n\n * Improving processes, reporting, and system workflows\n\n * Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow modelling\n\n * Driving commercial insight to support decision-making\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\n * Qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)\n\n * Strong management accounting and FP&A experience\n\n * Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or multi-entity environments\n\n * Confident communicator with a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset\n\nWhat’s on offer\n\n * £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience\n\n * Hybrid working (3 days on-site in Harrogate)\n\n * Opportunity to shape group consolidation and financial operations\n\nSharp Consultancy is a finance and accountancy recruitment specialist assisting accounting and finance divisions of businesses in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area.
