We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and efficient check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to handle guest enquiries with professionalism. Duties
* Greet guests upon arrival with a courteous and friendly attitude
* Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
* Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone or online systems
* Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
* Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints
* Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
* Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
* Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
* Uphold health and safety standards in line with hotel policies
Experience
* Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service roles is preferred but not essential
* Strong knowledge of guest services and hospitality principles
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficiency in hotel management software or reservation systems is advantageous
* Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional demeanour when dealing with guests and vendors
