The role of the Assistant Merchandiser is to support the Merchandiser in daily operations by engaging in efficient planning, overseeing the supply base, revising sales and intake forecasts, and ensuring optimal availability of the product range.
Duties & Responsibilities for this Assistant Merchandiser position:
* Managing the delivery schedule according to stock and intake targets.
* Collaborating with the Buying team to oversee the critical path.
* Cultivating positive working relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
* Identifying sales and stock opportunities and potential risks through reporting and analysis.
* Optimizing the availability of essential product lines.
* Assisting the Merchandiser in preparing for meetings and presentations.
* Providing guidance and support to the Merchandise Administrator and Allocator.
* To support the Merchandiser in preparing for meetings and presentations.
* Actively contributing to teamwork and cross-functional collaboration, sharing knowledge and expertise across the organization.
* Taking ownership and being accountable for actions, consistently aiming for improvement and surpassing expectations while maintaining safety and quality.
