Key Areas of Responsibility:

Imaging & Grading Duties

1. Responsible for parts inventory of breakers, imaging and grading of panels and parts for our sales channels
2. Ensure vehicles are brought by an FLT to designated Inventory / Image areas
3. Clean vehicle as necessary to ensure high quality images
4. Inventory parts on vehicle and image using the PDA inventory matrix
5. Grade parts and image using Company guidelines
6. Complete any training requirements for the role
7. Ensure that a video is taken of the engine of it starting, running and showing exhaust to show any infringements
8. Removed parts to be cleaned, tagged, imaged and packed and be ready for sending to despatch or warehouse
9. Supporting with processing stock inventory based on decisions made on journey of stock, whether it be Parts Sales (breaker), Vehicle Sales (Auction) or ELV (end of life/scrap) to maximise value and return for LKQ SYNETIQ.
10. Supporting GDPR & Salvage Personal Belonging Team with GDPR compliance & contractual SLA’s.
11. Ensuring quality control every step of the way with no damages to vehicles or parts
12. Destickering (taking stickers off vehicles) in line with client agreements and compliance
13. General yard duties from time to time
14. Maintaining the highest health & safety standards within work environment

Yard Duties

15. Clean vehicles and remove any rubbish as necessary to ensure high quality images
16. Ensure all personal effects and documents are disposed of correctly following GDPR rules
17. Maintain and take ownership of general housekeeping within your selected functional and customer facing area and manage to a high standard to create a safe and streamline environment

Here’s what you bring:

18. Suitable candidates must have a full driving license
19. Experience of working outside in all weathers
20. The ability to accurately record the damage of vehicles, onto our system in a clear and concise manner
21. Experience of using a forklift would be an advantage but not essential (onsite Forklift training with a reputable provider will be funded by the company)
22. Able to work as part of a team
23. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
24. Excellent attention to detail
25. Basic IT skills
26. Previous experience working in a salvage site and knowledge and/or an interest in motor vehicles would also be desirable but not essential
